Karachi High School, Karachi Pakistan

My sincere gratitude to the Principal of Karachi High School in Karachi, Pakistan, Ms. Faiza Kassim, to give me the opportunity to sprinkle the magic of art in the lives of young children who come from many under-represented communities.

I worked as an Art Curriculum Adviser / Art Instructor for Key Stage 2-4.

Memorial Stall - The Black Day

Children at Karachi High School sat through the quiet morning of 20 December 2014 to grieve over the lost souls of Army Public School who were brutally murdered on 16 December 2014. This day is called the Black Day for Pakistan because sadness over-shadowed the entire nation. We designed cards for the families of the deceased to share our condolences. They were sent to them via post.

Students made drawings on a piece of paper without any given question. The idea was to grasp the thinking core of each childs' unconsious mind.

Each one made fabulous works depicting their family structure, locale, and spiritual / religious beliefs.
